What makes something a piece of advanced reporting? Is it the number of people a reporter talks to? Is it the amount of time it takes to report and write it?
The following four stories show there are a myriad of types of advanced reporting. (I apologize for using all Columbus Dispatch stuff, and three of my own stories at that. I do so because I know what went in to creating all of these pieces.)
